"Malware" New Targeting Android Users, Including Indonesia

Cyber ​​security firm Palo Alto Research discovered new malware that threatens Android users in several countries, including Indonesia. Malicious programs that exist in a Nintendo game emulator application and can be activated immediately once the application is installed.
In total there are three types of new malware named "Gunpoder". Users who are infected will feel the ill effects troublesome.
Once lodged in the phone, then he will collect all the bookmarks and browser history, sending itself via SMS, to display false advertisements, and directly execute malicious code in it.
The most terrible thing of this malware is hiding location. He slipped behind the payment portal Nintendo emulator applications that exist in Google Play Store.




The security researchers do not specify the name of the emulator in question. However, they say that the price was in the range of 0.20 to 0.40 US dollars. Android users are fooled and buy the emulator will be directly affected by so he make the payment.
As reported by e-newspro of Phone Arena, Friday (10/07/2015), they also warned users because the malware can not be detected by antivirus software.
Palo Alto said the malicious program has the potential to attack Android users who live in Iraq, Thailand, India, Indonesia, South Africa, Russia, France, Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Italy, United States, and Spain. Funnily enough, malicious programs did not dare to send SMS automatically when the infected user is in China.
