Tehran - Iranian aircraft belonging to the airline, Mahan Air, had an incident after takeoff from Tehran. One Boeing 747 engine is detached and fell from the aircraft while in the air to trigger terror amongst the passengers.As reported by AFP on Thursday (10/15/2015), the plane carrying 300 passengers is being aired from Mehrabad Airport heading to Bandar Abbas, when this incident occurred. When airborne, suddenly one of the plane's engines apart and fell to the ground below.As a result, the plane was forced to fly back to Tehran and make an emergency landing. There were no injuries as a result of this incident. No mention further the cause of this aircraft engine apart suddenly.However it is known that Iran has been working on updating 140 plane that was getting old. But with the nuclear program and sanctions against this country, some parts difficult to find spare parts.Restrictions imposed on Iran had been revoked in part after the temporary agreement related to Iran's nuclear program in January 2014 last. Revocation in part of these sanctions meant to allow the sale of spare parts, even though the aircraft direct sales is still prohibited.The final agreement reached in Vienna, Austria, on July 14 and contains Withdrawal of all sanctions against Iran and instead, Iran should limit its nuclear program. This agreement will come into force in early 2016.With the lifting of sanctions, Iran hopes to buy new aircraft directly. Transport Minister Abbas Akhoundi Iran revealed plans to buy new aircraft from Airbus and Boeing as well as the Vienna agreement applies.
